JLC-Tech LLC, the leading innovator of T-BAR LED lighting technologies, understands the importance of intellectual property rights and fair competition. To protect its intellectual property rights, JLC-Tech LLC takes action.

JLC-Tech LLC has recently moved to protect its intellectual property rights by filing a complaint against Luminous Global, Inc. for patent infringement and copyright infringement in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. The lawsuit alleges, in part, that certain product lines offered for sale and sold by Luminous Global, Inc. — The T-Slim Series — infringe JLC-Tech’s U.S. Patent Nos. 10,508,805 and 11,732,878. Upon information and belief, we allege the defendant imports the alleged infringing products from Shenzhen OKT Lighting Co. Ltd. The complaint further alleges that Luminous Global Inc, has utilized JLC-Tech’s copyright protected artwork and text to promote their T-Slim Series on their website and in downloadable materials. JLC-Tech previously sued Shenzhen OKT Lighting Co., Ltd. for infringement of multiple intellectual property rights. A copy of the Shenzhen OKT Lighting complaint can be viewed here. The suit against Shenzhen OKT Lighting settled favorably for JLC-Tech LLC. JLC-Tech also previously sued Edge Systems Group for infringement of multiple intellectual property rights and obtained a $15,000 judgment. A copy of the judgment can be viewed here.

Recently, JLC-Tech LLC initiated action to protect its intellectual property rights by suing North America Lighting, LLC for patent infringement in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. The lawsuit alleges, in part, that two product lines offered for sale and sold by North America Lighting — the Mister T-Grid LED Linear Light and the T-Grid LED Linear light — infringe JLC-Tech’s U.S. Patent No. 10,508,805.
