“Our main goals were to develop a facility that provided better lighting and daylight access as well better environmental control (heating and cooling) and provide flexibility in our design so we could adjust quickly to business needs using what we called a “living office” feel.
We saw the future savings in redesign as we moved and expanded departments. Our design would allow for fast adjustments using demountable walls and electrical design plan that allowed for ultimate placement of those elements when reorganizing for departmental needs or new business units.
We also experienced fewer instances of ergonomic challenges of screen placement and eyesight issues and the overall look of the lighting always wows someone first entering as they are impressed with the clean/minimal and impressive techy look.
Designers and contractors learned a lot since this was their first experience with this product. All of them decided it was a viable product that provided lots of benefits and changed their mindset about lighting.”
